Just three Wishes
As I often say, I am not an intelligent person; therefore, my wishes are not very smart either. So, if I ever meet a meanie genie who is ready to fulfill three of my wishes, I would probably not make good choices. Silly me. Can you guess my first wish? Nope, your guess is not correct. And, I will not give you a second chance, not because I am cruel, but because you are smart, and smart people can not know or understand how a silly mind works. Hence, you are unable to make a good guess. Who would have thought intelligence could be the reason for failure in some scenarios? So, my first wish would be to remove seeds from all fruits. Just imagine a world where fruits have no seeds. Not even one tiny seed. No more seed. Who likes seeds in their fruits? I think we all have that desire. I want to bite hard on a peach, ah peach my favorite fruit, without the fear of breaking teeth. Apple without seeds. Orange without seeds. Mango without a heavyweight champion seed. Just pure meat.
My third wish would be to reset the calendar. What a stupid system we have. I wonder what would go wrong if every month had just 30 days. At least one good thing would happen to people who are born on February 29, poor souls have to wait for four years to get birthday gifts. We must be just with them. You see I am so kind, not cruel. So that’s about it. Now you know about my three wishes. Wait! Where is the second one? Let me check, it must be somewhere between the first and third wish. Ah, silly me. I should have paid more attention in my math class. I am so bad at counting. For some reason, I always count three before two. Therefore, we need a correction in our counting system. Do you see, what would be my second wish? Yes, good, you are smart. Right, I will request our meanie genie to change two to three and three to two.
And then I would be the only one who could count right.
Oh don’t come on, don’t pray that I don’t get to meet a meanieeeeeeeeeeee genieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
